The installation evolves around the imprints of bird‘s paws in concrete streets of Athens - in the city context they seemed to be an accurate analogy to the interaction of a displaced person with bureaucratic structures: a bird descending to the ground, driven by fatigue/hunger, plunges into concrete, where it‘s trace stays.
The imprints were collected using latex, and recasted inside the wooden case, to be turned into stamps. The installation consists of the set of stamps with the case and an artist book - a visual essay on the topics of migration, documents, borders, transit, flight.
